I’ve been crafting! Its all very exciting, but I get excited easily, anyway I’ve designed a set of really rather nifty alien and monster inspired iPod and iPone socks. Made from felt and completely hand sewn by myself check ’em out in my etsy shop.
Part of the current Apocalypsis collection for Aw14 make a bold statement in these clothes, the collection features beautifully tailored cotton twill pencil skirts, which fall just above the knee and are high waisted to show off the smallest part of your waist and features a series of four small box pleats at the back of each skirt.
Sheer vests that can be dressed up or down,
Crop tops which zip up at the front for a slightly punk finish, and features sleeves with little tucks at the shoulder and an open collar that can either stand up or be folded down.
Quirky and fun faux leather cropped jackets, with long hand-cut fringe accents. This jacket is the perfect for layering to create a statement outfit, its also lined in faux leather but is still very lightweight, and perfect for spring or fall.

New in stock via my Etsy shop is the Colour-Box collection. Based on 1950’s vintage style with a little creative flare thrown in for good measure, these dresses are designed to be simple, elegant and suitable for everyday wear.
These dresses easily pull double duty and make cute off-beat vintage style bridesmaid dresses. Can be made in either 100% cotton, cotton poplin or dupion silk, in bright statement colours but with a little secret – underneath the skirt is a super fun petticoat in a brightly coloured net.

To celebrate the opening of our shop, the first 100 customers will receive a free gift worth up to £12.00, customers can choose any colour from within our summer collection and have a choice between either a felt ring or a pair of earrings.
So my summer theme collection of jewellery is now available on Etsy through my shop, I am super excited about this the jewellery is made using fine Merino Wool and each carefully hand felted, these quirky pieces add a little something to any outfit while being very lightweight.
The ring is adjustable so it is comfortable and fitting for any finger and the earrings clip on for a fun alternative for unpierced ears!
Well, here it is the finished Re-mixed Dimensions collection. I’m so happy with these final pieces, there’re all very different but sit well together. Constructed textiles are amongst my favourites due to how tactile you can make them.
I have to give a hugh thank you to Catherine who modelled for me, she looks amazing.

These arrived in the post today, I now have incredibly cool clothing labels complete with my logo printed by carelabels-co-uk this company are so helpful and super fast, the whole process has only taken two days!
After initial researching of all the various things I found influential for this project. I started playing with adornment of my own, using different weighted and textured materials and making each piece individually, decorating them by hand or with a sewing machine and arranging each piece onto a stand to create a silhouette I like, then sewing all the various pieces together by hand, so that it may be worn on the body.
Striking body adornment, really eye catching and inspiring. Re-blogged from Alexandros Nikolis Pinterest board body adornment.
New horizons inspired artwork, prints and originals are now available in My Shop
Design specs for the Apocalypsis collection which consists of 6 outfits, all of which would be made in responsibly sourced fabrics. Starting on the left, the first is a “onsie” cape in grey and mustard colour thick linen, with a digitally printed hood worn with a simple shirt dress. No 2, is a brown t-shirt in a light cotton and linen panelled trousers that are decorated with blue digitally printed pieces. No 3, is a simple brown pencil skirt, with a digitally printed shirt and a decorative leather body piece.
The 4th outfit is a pair of baggy trousers with 2 layered trapeze t-shirts, that can be overlaid which are digitally printed and the blue one has a detachable hood. No 5, is a fun and girly dress in grey linen with a 2 colour tutu with a grey leather decorative body piece and mustard colour jersey leggings – which are decorated with digitally printed blue pieces and finally the last outfit is a simple trapeze top in digitally printed silk, with an unusual “cutout” floor length cape/dress in bright blue silk.
These pieces are decorated with the textiles patterns shown here.
A slightly more definitive and detailed illustration for my Water of Life collection.
Tried a slightly different illustration style to go with my Water of Life collection. I wanted the illustration to seem a little more grown up.
Fun, quirky illustration to go with my New Horizons project.

Apocalypsis design project, using my inspirations of a future post apocalyptic world, modern architecture and body adornment, interpreted with some modern abstract prints in colours that can represent future camouflage, which will in turn be used for decorating sections of my designs.
